Kartik Arora is a Litigation Counsel with a dual license to practice in Ontario and India. He graduated from Symbiosis Law School, Pune in 2018. While at law school, he was awarded the DAAD Exchange Scholarship in 2016. He also gained advocacy experience by participating in International Criminal Court Moot Court Competition, in 2016 (India Rounds) and became Convener of the Students’ Bar Association in 2017.

Kartik firmly believes in the principle of innocence until proven guilty and advocates for the clients’ liberty until the end of the matter. He guides the clients through each step of the criminal justice system. Kartik has successfully defended a wide range of charges including assault, assault with a weapon, driving under the influence, domestic assault, and drug offenses.

Kartik uses a strategic approach to defend his clients, such as rigorous disclosure analysis and bringing motions with an objective to exclude evidence obtained by the police authorities. He scrutinizes the evidence to find doubt and weakness to advocate for acquittal of criminal charges.

He works relentlessly with a passion for defending criminal charges. He goes beyond the required milestone to achieve a positive outcome by conducting dauntless cross-examination and crafting persuasive arguments in the most perplexed situations.

He uses a direct approach at times by negotiating where the charges could be resolved without attending a trial. In cases where a trial becomes inevitable, he has the ability and skills to defend the client at the trial hearing.
