Self-Employed Program
Who can apply:
a) Have a relevant experience to apply under Federal Business Class
I. Taken part in cultural activities or athletics at a world-class level or
II. Been a self-employed person in cultural activities or athletics ( at least two years of experience in past five years );
III. Experience in farm management;
IV. Must intend and be able to become self-employed in Canada in the arts or athletics or be able to buy and manage a farm in Canada;
V. One principal applicant; the family member (spouse and children who are under 22 years old, single) can be included in the same application.
Procedure: 25 months
I. Retainer
II. Prepare all application forms and documentation required to apply under Federal Business Class
III. Obtain file number and the notice of admissibility check
IV. Obtain landing paper and permanent residence card
Start-Up Business Visa
Canada’s Start-up Visa Program targets immigrant entrepreneurs with the skills and potential to build businesses in Canada:
I. Are innovative
II. Can create jobs for Canadians
III. Can compete on a global scale
To be eligible for the Start-up Visa Program, you must:
a. Have a qualifying business
b. Get a letter of support from a designated organization
c. Meet the language requirements: the minimum level of the Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 5;
d. Bring enough money to settle: at least $12,475
